WHY WOULD I NEED AN EQUINE APPRAISER
Situations occur in a horse, mule, or donkey owner's life which require you to prove the value of your horse, mule, or donkey. A prime example of this is the IRS requires a professional appraisal for donated horses whose value exceeds $5,000. Some insurance companies require a professional appraisal for insuring equines, or in equine death claims. Some banks, and other lending institutions, require a professional appraisal for the lending of money to purchase a horse, mule, or donkey.
WHAT IS AN EQUINE APPRAISAL
A unique service to establish current market value-this is the highest price, estimated in terms of money that an informed buyer would pay for a particular horse, mule, or donkey on any given day. Current market values for horses, mules, and donkeys need to be established for purposes such as: donations; purchases; sales; insurance claims; insurance policies; and litigation for both private owners and insurance companies.
